Intertextile Shenzhen Apparel Fabrics and Yarn Expo Shenzhen open June 9–11, with over 600 exhibitors from 11 countries and regions presenting materials ranging from Peruvian alpaca wool fabrics to tea-derived fibers at the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center. The fairs, covering around 45,000 sqm across interconnected Halls 1 and 9, will explore materials innovation, sustainability, digitalization, and AI alongside heritage-inspired textile traditions.

Located centrally in Futian, the fairs are expected to draw visitors from across the Greater Bay Area, other parts of China, Asia, and beyond. Exhibitors represent China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Italy, Japan, Korea, Peru, the US, and Vietnam. Japanese suppliers will be grouped in Intertextile Shenzhen’s Japan Zone.
Intertextile Shenzhen Apparel Fabrics
Product categories at Intertextile Shenzhen include cotton, wool, silk, linen/ramie, and functional fabrics for ladieswear, casualwear, denim, suiting and shirting, performance wear, swimwear, and lingerie. Among the featured exhibitors, 3M China presents 3M Thinsulate Insulation, described as a lightweight insulator that traps body heat while allowing moisture to escape, with a high warmth-to-thickness ratio intended to reduce bulk and improve freedom of movement. Incalpaca (Peru), part of Grupo Inca, specializes in natural fibers including alpaca and positions itself around sustainability and craftsmanship; the company said it has established partnerships with global fashion brands. Trabaldo Togna (Italy), founded in 1840, produces superfine fabrics for luxury labels; its Chinese agent will present the latest worsted wool fabrics and tweeds at the fair.
Expert-led fringe events will run at Textile Dialogue (Hall 1) and Talking Point (Hall 9) across four themes: Design & Trends, Technology & Solutions, Econogy Talks, and Market Information & Business Strategies. The Future Horizons Forum will cover textile innovation, sustainability pathways, and AI applications in fashion. The Innovation Studio will feature displays from the Asia International Hemp Federation; the School of Fashion and Textiles at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University; the Technological and Higher Education Institute of Hong Kong; and Wuyi University, alongside a Digital Innovation Exploration Space.
Other featured events include the S/S 2027 Fabrics China Trend Forum, which will explore macro trends and consumer insights to identify in-demand design styles and materials for the upcoming season; a forum on digital transformation for small and medium-sized enterprises offering case studies and practical tools for upgrading textile operations; and a session on hemp and sustainable materials co-presented by the Asia International Hemp Federation and Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna, focusing on hemp fiber applications and its potential across industries.
Yarn Expo Shenzhen
Held concurrently in Hall 1, Yarn Expo Shenzhen will present synthetic, natural, sustainable, and functional yarns and fibers. Better International Holding (Hong Kong) will showcase plant-based fibers derived from mint, coral grass, tea, hemp, and Chinese herbs, said to offer properties including antibacterial, cooling, anti-inflammatory, deodorizing, temperature-regulating, UV-protective, and anti-mite functions; applications span sportswear, casual wear, underwear, and home textiles. I Impact Fashion International (Hong Kong), making its debut at Yarn Expo Shenzhen, will present an eco-friendly recycled fiber series including functional recycled polyester fibers (rPET) and organic cotton, with plans to use the fair to explore the South China market.
The fair’s fringe program includes nearly 20 product presentations and seminars on industry developments, emerging trends, and market dynamics. Highlighted events include the New Fiber New World – Textile Materials Innovation Forum and the Tongkun – China Fiber Fashion Trends Display Zone.
Across both fairs, buyers can source accessories, fibers, yarns, fabrics, and garments. The concurrently held PH Value will present knitted fabrics.
