Jixingfeng is expanding its smart manufacturing capabilities to develop functional socks for global clients, combining material applications, specialized knitting technology, and OEM/ODM production models, as demand grows for functional hosiery in sectors including sports, healthcare, outdoor recreation, and daily use.
Founded in 2003, the company operates a 19,000-square-meter factory with approximately 570 knitting machines and a daily production capacity of over 170,000 pairs, according to the company, which it states allows it to handle both large-volume orders and small-batch trial production. Jixingfeng operates globally through a B2B digital platform and has begun what it describes as a comprehensive upgrade of its manufacturing infrastructure, as the global textile and hosiery supply chain undergoes changes driven by textile technology, automation, and rising demand for functional socks.
The company has built what it describes as an end-to-end production system connecting raw material blending through to retail packaging. Clients can work with the factory from the initial product concept stage, translating design requirements into finished socks and improving consistency between samples and mass production, according to the company. Through this system, Jixingfeng has supplied socks to a number of footwear and sportswear brands.
To address varied requirements across global markets, the factory is divided into multiple specialized production areas, allowing production lines to switch between different product categories without affecting output efficiency, the company said. Jixingfeng has also implemented a quality assurance system covering the production process from receiving combed cotton yarn to sealing export cartons for sea transport.
For sports applications, the company has developed socks featuring seamless toe-closing, localized pressure structures, breathable mesh zones, and anti-friction structures, designed to reduce friction, improve foot stability, enhance moisture management, and provide cushioning. The same manufacturing approach has been applied to medical and health-related products, with the company developing diabetic socks and other functional medical socks for applications with specific functional requirements.
