Heimtextil 2027, the world’s leading trade fair for home and contract textiles, will take place from 12 to 15 January 2027 at Messe Frankfurt Exhibition Centre in Germany. The event will once again bring together the global carpet industry through its Carpets & Rugs segment, which has been restructured to reflect current market requirements and strengthen networking across purchasing and distribution channels. The segment integrates carpet suppliers into Heimtextil’s product segments, combining interior concepts for specialist retailers, solutions for hospitality and contract projects, and offerings for the international volume business.

The new structure is intended to give manufacturers additional business opportunities and new contacts, while buyers gain direct access to complete interior solutions. “Our aim is to reflect the needs of the entire carpet market as effectively as possible. Together with the industry, we continuously develop Carpets & Rugs and create an even more targeted business platform for manufacturers, brands and buyers worldwide,” said Bettina Bär, director, Heimtextil. “The strong participation once again confirms Heimtextil’s relevance as the home of the global carpet industry in Frankfurt.”

With Carpets & Rugs Excellence, Heimtextil 2027 is introducing a premium segment featuring selected international volume manufacturers from the carpet industry for the first time. The new area is intended to serve as a central meeting point for buyers from retail, hospitality and contract business seeking quality-focused carpet suppliers capable of handling order volumes of every scale, and is presented as offering guidance for global sourcing decisions.
