FyterTech Nonwovens, a privately held manufacturer based in Wisconsin, marked 30 years in business on 1 October 2026. The company attributed the milestone to its employees and customer base. Founded in October 1996, it now supplies sorbents, wipers and fluid management solutions in more than 60 countries across six continents.
“Thirty years ago, we had five employees, one plant in Green Bay, and a simple goal: to provide innovative solutions that make the world a safer, cleaner place,” said Andrew Hetzel Jr., founder, owner and chairman of FyterTech Nonwovens. “Everything this company has become since then was built by our customers and our employees. Our customers trusted us early, and they’ve held us to a high standard ever since. Our employees have met that standard every day, in every shift, for three decades.”
According to the company, FyterTech is one of the largest vertically integrated manufacturers in its industry. Its flagship Spilfyter brand, which covers absorbent pads, rolls, socks, booms, pillows, spill kits and wipers, anchors a portfolio that also includes neutralizers and classifiers, granular absorbents and secondary containment.
The company stated that its manufacturing scale and broad capabilities allow it to serve diverse customer needs with reliable supply, responsive service and a wide range of products and application-specific solutions.
Chief executive officer Matt Wild described the milestone as both a celebration of FyterTech’s foundation and a catalyst for its future. “For 30 years, FyterTech’s success has been driven by dedicated employees, trusted customers and partners, and the values Andy established from the beginning,” Wild said. “As we enter our fourth decade, I am excited by the opportunity to build on that foundation, expanding our reach, strengthening our capabilities and developing innovative solutions that help make the world safer and cleaner.”
