Barmag (Suzhou), based in China, and Hitech Automation Solutions, based in Surat, India, have formed an exclusive partnership to jointly market Hitech’s Doffmatic automation solution for Barmag’s manual eFK texturing machines.
The agreement covers the sale of new eFK texturing machines combined with Doffmatic, under the name eFK Doffmatic, as well as retrofits to existing Barmag machines.
In many texturing facilities, manual doffing processes remain heavily operator-dependent, resulting in issues such as increased scrap, inconsistent quality and limited productivity. The Doffmatic is positioned between manual and fully automated concepts, with a focus on return on investment and improved yarn quality.
It is designed as an add-on system that integrates into eFK texturing machines without requiring additional space. According to the companies, customers benefit from a modernisation path with short payback periods, for both new installations and retrofit projects, making it an option for yarn producers who do not yet use automatic texturing machines but want to improve efficiency, process stability and product quality.
Doffmatic is designed to automate the doffing process while ensuring that bobbins have the same length, which the companies describe as a key requirement for consistent quality and downstream processing.
