Aditya Birla Group has opened a new public school in Pallipalayam, Tamil Nadu – its third in the state and 57th across India. Established under Grasim’s Jan Seva Trust, the co-educational institution will offer classes from Grade 1 through Grade 12, bringing the group’s total education network to 56 schools across 14 states.
The school will follow the CBSE curriculum in alignment with the National Education Policy. The campus features child-friendly learning spaces, green and energy-efficient facilities, and barrier-free access. According to the group, the school aims to provide students in and around Pallipalayam with an educational experience comparable to institutions in larger urban centres.
The initiative draws on Grasim’s long-standing presence in the Erode region through its Pulp & Fibre business, which has been part of the local textile manufacturing ecosystem for decades.

The inauguration was attended by Shyamlal Ganguli, group advisor – education; Manmohan Singh, chief marketing officer, Pulp & Fibre, Grasim Industries; along with regional industrialists, textile associations, and families of the inaugural student batch.
