YKK has launched No. 3 size of QuickFree click-TRAK Magnetic zipper globally. It’s a new smaller size zipper designed for expanded use in lightweight garments. For the first, the company has made Magnetic zipper available beyond China for the first time.
QuickFree click-TRAK Magnetic is a product in which magnets are embedded in the left and right open parts, and the zipper can be closed simply by bringing the parts close together thanks to magnetic force. It also features a release function–the slider snaps open when a certain amount of force is applied to either side–which allows the zipper to be opened even when the slider is not all the way down.
It allows users to easily operate the zipper without looking at their hands, in addition to allowing for quick removal, so we anticipate its use across a wide range of areas, including rapid donning during sporting activities, children’s wear, and universal fashion.
Only size 5 is suitable for children; size 3 is not CPSC-compliant and is therefore not intended for use by children. While maintaining the same functionality and ease of operation, the No. 3 size is approximately 60% the size of the No. 5 size. It enables applications in lightweight garments, sportswear, hooded apparel, and other similar uses.
QuickFree click-TRAK Magnetic features magnets embedded in the left and right open parts, allowing them to automatically attract each other through magnetic force. In addition, users can easily remove the garment simply by pulling the zipper chain apart from either side without lowering the slider. The product also features a release function in which the slider disengages when a certain amount of force is applied to either side, automatically opening the zipper.
