Uzbekistan’s large enterprises produced textile products worth UZS 54.4 trillion (approximately USD 4.5 billion) during January–June 2026, marking a 10.1% increase compared with the corresponding period of 2025, according to the National Statistics Committee.
The country’s textile exports also recorded strong growth during the first half of the year. Textile products worth US$1.6 billion were exported during the period, representing a 24.1% increase year on year.
Finished textile products accounted for the largest share of exports at 53%, highlighting the growing contribution of higher-value textile products to Uzbekistan’s export mix. Yarn represented 31% of total textile exports, while knitted fabrics accounted for 9%.
Woven fabrics contributed 5% of exports, followed by hosiery and carpets, each accounting for 1%.
The export structure indicates that finished products and yarn continue to dominate Uzbekistan’s textile trade, while fabrics and other downstream textile categories make up a smaller but significant share.
