CTMTC and Jingwei Textile Machinery have jointly commissioned a large-scale complete rotor spinning project in Vietnam. The companies described it as the largest and most intelligent rotor spinning production line in Southeast Asia to date, positioning it as an example of overseas expansion by Chinese intelligent textile machinery manufacturing and services.
The project has a total scale of 17,000 spindles and uses equipment manufactured entirely by Jingwei Textile Machinery, including the JWF1217 high-production carding machine, the JWF0018/19 foreign fiber detector, the JWF1366Pro auto-leveling draw frame, and the JWF1618E open-end spinning frame. According to the companies, the production line offers a high degree of automation, stability, yarn quality, low energy consumption and reduced labor requirements, and is suited to high-end spinning production conditions in Southeast Asia.
CTMTC said it structured its service to the client around pre-project, mid-project and post-project phases. In the pre-project stage, its business and technical teams worked with the client to develop an integrated solution based on planned production capacity and product positioning, followed by business negotiations and technical disclosure. During construction, CTMTC’s local Vietnamese technical service team worked alongside product specialists from Jingwei Textile Machinery on equipment delivery, installation, commissioning and joint testing. Following commissioning, CTMTC said it continues to provide operation and maintenance guidance, process optimization, technical training and emergency support.
Vietnam’s textile sector has seen continued demand for equipment renewal and capacity expansion among local and foreign-invested enterprises, driven by free trade agreements and the country’s integrated textile and garment supply chain. CTMTC has operated in the Vietnamese market since the 1980s and says it has built an industry network and localized service presence nationwide. Through its collaboration with Jingwei Textile Machinery, the company said it has developed a business model combining equipment supply, commercial services and localized technical support. The two companies also carried out a joint Vietnam Market Quality Tour, visiting textile clusters from Thai Binh Province in northern Vietnam to the outskirts of Ho Chi Minh City, and reported securing several letters of intent for new factory construction and capacity expansion projects.
CTMTC said it plans to continue expanding its presence in Vietnam, building on its product portfolio, project delivery experience and localized service capabilities, while working to grow the market presence of CHTC Group’s textile machinery business across Southeast Asia and internationally.
