
Yarn Expo Autumn 2026 will run in Shanghai from 25 to 27 August 2026, bringing together international exhibitors serving downstream applications ranging from apparel and home textiles to medical and industrial uses. The fair is organized by Messe Frankfurt (HK) and the Sub-Council of Textile Industry, CCPIT.
Exhibitors will showcase products spanning natural, synthetic, and blended materials, giving buyers access to a range of sourcing options at one platform and reflecting the breadth of the global market as well as the industry’s continued shift toward more sustainable development.
Global demand for textile raw materials continues to rise, with fiber production expected to grow from 132 million tons to 169 million tons by 2030, pointing to sustained sourcing needs across the industry. As the market develops, sourcing priorities are becoming more varied, with buyers seeking materials suited to both mainstream and specialized applications. Yarn Expo Autumn 2026 will feature exhibitors aligned with the market’s emphasis on quality, product differentiation, and more responsible sourcing practices, including performance apparel producers turning to cotton, cellulose, plant-based fibers, regenerated textile fibers, and wool as functional alternatives.
This year’s fair will include international exhibitors from different countries, bringing distinct expertise across the yarn and fiber sector. Among them are PT. Indo-Rama Synthetics Tbk from Indonesia and The Lurex from the UK, joined by other suppliers spanning different product focuses and market strengths. The offering presents sourcing opportunities across multiple segments, from cotton, flax, and wool to recycled polyester.
Yarn Expo Autumn will be held concurrently with Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics – Autumn Edition, CHIC, and PH Value. The four fairs will bring the fiber and yarn, apparel fabrics and accessories, fashion, and knitted garments industries together under one roof, allowing exhibitors and buyers to maximize business opportunities through the resultant synergy.
